The pistachio is considered one of the oldest cultivated plants and originally comes from the Middle East. There, the small fruit is also affectionately known as the “smiling pistachio” because its light-colored shell pops open a small crack on one side before it is fully ripe.
Its slightly sweet, mildly nutty aroma is unmistakable and is ideally suited as the basis for unusual flavor ingredients. We have chosen fruity sour cherries and sun-drenched oranges and added smoked salt to this composition – a truly exceptional taste experience that can be topped with a glass of Pinot Noir.
Red wines pressed from this grape variety with their rich bouquet of fresh red fruits and elegant acidity, harmonize perfectly, but also provide excitement in this »Rendez-Vous N°4«.
